Angelina Jolie under fire for looking scary-skinny at Berlin 'Salt' premiere

Angelina Jolie is being criticized again for being too skinny after she attended the Berlin premiere of Salt on Aug. 18 looking frail in a baggy black BCBG halter dress.

While Jolie has always maintained that she's naturally slim, tabloids speculate the mom' of six's hectic travel and work schedule is making her wither away.

'Protruding Shoulder Blades'

Just this week alone, Angelina attended premieres in London and Paris, and in July, the Oscar winner jetted to Japan and Korea to promote Salt.

"[Angelina couldn't hide her protruding shoulder blades and painfully thin arms in the halter-neck number," reports the Daily Mail.

This isn't the first time Jolie has come under scrutiny for her bony physique. In 2007, Angelina lost a dramatic amount of weight shortly after her mom, Marcheline Bertrand died of ovarian cancer at 56.

'Being Called Thin Not a Compliment To Me'

At the time, Jolie explained: "I've always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I've gone through a lot. Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it's because I want to fit into skinny jeans. Someone saying to me that I'm thin is not a compliment."

Ironically, Angelina followed a high-carb diet and ate 5-6 small meals every day while training for Salt, for which she did many of her own stunts.

A sequel is reportedly in the works, for which Jolie is again expected to train three hours a day learning the martial arts Muay Thai and Krav Maga. "I love doing action," Jolie gushes. "I love to punch things, jump off things and shoot, so I'm lucky I got the job."

Meanwhile, Angelina continues to flex her box-office muscles. To date, Salt has grossed $188.2 million since its July 23 U.S. release.
