Before she became a Hollywood icon, Angelina Jolie starred in a steamy 1998 film that included a nude lesbian love scene with co-star Elizabeth Mitchell, who now appears as Juliet Burke on ABC's “Lost.”
The HBO TV movie is being re-released in an uncensored, high-definition version.
The “Tomb Raider” star was 23 when she appeared in the film and won a Golden Globe for her role.
Written and directed by Michael Cristofer, the movie also garnered Jolie a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as an Emmy nomination for her poignant portrayal.
Said one critic at the time: "Jolie is fierce in her portrayal—filling the part with nerve, charm, and desperation—and her role in this film is quite possibly the most beautiful train wreck ever filmed."

It’s based on the true life story of Gia Marie Carangi , a supermodel who fought her way to the top of the fashion industry in the hedonistic 1970s. She contracts the HIV AIDS virus from an infected needle and dies at the age of 26.
Jolie sheds her clothes in the picture, and has a torrid love scene with Mitchell, as well as several other erotic scenes.
Carangi was a rebel and the film traces her life, from working in her father's diner at age 17, to her death in 1986.
Along the way, she courses through a downward spiral of drug abuse and failed relationships. Gia lived hard and died young in the glamorous, excessive 1970s in New York City.
She is often called the first supermodel.
Carangi was one of the first women in America whose death was attributed to AIDS, which has ravaged millions around the world.
