Angelina Jolie was seen directing her new film, “Unbroken”, in new promotional stills from the set in Queensland, according to a Nov. 1 report in Australia’s NewsMail. The pictures show Jolie watching film footage and standing on a rig in Moreton Bay.
There is also a photo of two actors in the film, Finn Wittrock and Jack O’Connell, in a lifeboat floating in the ocean.
“Unbroken” is based on a 2010 New York Times best selling novel of by Laura Hillenbrand about an Olympic track winner who became a World War Two hero when his plane crashes near Australia during the Japanese occupation. Louis Zamperini survived 47 days on a life raft in the ocean and two and a half years in a brutal prisoner of war camp on the mainland.
Angelina Jolie has recently been spotted buying Halloween costumes for Brad Pitt and her's children, and has kept silent during a location scandal involving Fort Lytton National Park near Brisbane, Australia.
Angelina Jolie’s “Unbroken” is scheduled to be released in U.S. theater on Christmas day 2014.
