Angelina Jolie showed off her long, toned legs in an asymmetrical black Versace chiffon dress with an open back and a dramatic thigh-high slit at the Tokyo premiere of Salt on July 27, 2010.
Jolie, 35, waved to fans and posed for photographers sporting open-toed high heels and a sophisticated updo hairstyle.
IS ANGIE SCARY-SKINNY?
Angelina's skinner-than-ever frame already has the blogosphere buzzing that she's become dangerously thin, with one blogger speculating that the 5'8" mom of four may weigh as little as 105 pounds.
While Jolie may look frail, her trainer and co-stars all insist she's stronger and more athletic that she appears.
Her Salt co-star Liev Schreiber recently gushed he was astonished what a fast sprinter Angelina was.
"She’s very fast, arms pumping, she’s got sprinter run," said Schreiber, 42. "The stuff that Angie can do, physically, is remarkable."
Her longtime stunt instructor (who coordinated her high-voltage action scenes in the spy thriller Salt) says Jolie was recently on a high-carb diet to make sure she doesn't lose weight or muscle mass.
'HEALTH IS TOP PRIORITY'
Despite speculation that Angelina may be in poor health because of her extreme skinniness, she insists that staying healthy and strong is extremely important to her because she's a mother of four who wants to play with her grandchildren years from now.
“I lost my mother not so long ago...and it becomes important to stay healthy and age gracefully," Jolie said. "I want to see my grandkids. I want to see my children grown and spend the years with Brad.”
'THE WOMEN ON MY MOM'S SIDE DIE YOUNG'
Angelina's mom, the actress Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer in 2007 at the age of 56. Once Jolie became a mom (with the 2002 adoption of son Maddox), she gave up smoking, cut back on drinking and caffeine and overhauled her junk-food diet in order to stay healthy as a mother who was now responsible for a child.
Jolie, who was extremely close to her single mom, once expressed concern that the women on her mother's side of the family tended to die young.
"There is no longevity on my mother's side of the family," Angelina said in 2007. "My grandmother also died young, so my mother always thought it could happen to her."
Adds Jolie: "At the end, she had missed nothing in life except getting to know her grandchildren. When she passed away, I brought my son to church to light a candle for her. I loved her so much."
