Fashion design house LOUIS VUITTON is refusing to confirm or deny celebrity gossip reports that Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has been signed to give her celebrity endorsement to the designer label's latest luxury product marketing campaign. According to VOGUE magazine, "the Oscar-winning actress is rumoured to have secured a $10 million deal which would see her become the face of the autumn/winter 2011-12 collection."
The Louis Vuitton collection has previously signed supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss to walk the catwalk. To see Angelina Jolie strut her leggy stuff would no doubt bring the designer countless new media reports about their glam luxury items.
According to Hollywood gossip sources, the fashion design house's creative director Marc Jacobs is no stranger to working with celebrity spokesmodels. He has spent time working both in front of and behind the camera with big name star celebs like former Armani model and Posh Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and actress Winona Ryder for his eponymous line. He was also instrumental in bringing pop music superstar actress Madonna and Hollywood blond movie star Scarlett Johansson to rep for Louis Vuitton.
There is no confirmation or denial of the celebrity endorsement to date, as the press camps for both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still remaining quiet at this hour.
Angelina Jolie was recently let go from her contract to model clothing and fashion accessories for competing design house St. Johns.
