Angelina Jolie stepped out to attend the 4th annual Women in the World Summit on April 4, 2013. The event was held in New York at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theatre, according to ABC News.
The actress selected an overpowering design from Saint Laurent's Spring 2013 collection to attend the high profile gathering. Her outfit of choice was an olive drab gown which featured a plunging drawstring neckline with tassle detailing. She added a black opera style cover with more tassles which seemed to swallow her up in one big gulp. For accent she added unflattering open toe sandals to complete her look.
Jolie was all about business because she certainly was not all about fashion. The gorgeous celebrity announced that she would be contributing $200,000 over her own money to "Malala's Fund." The fund is named after Malala Yousafzai who is the young girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban for advocating education for girls. The fund was established by Vital Voices and has also received a donation from the Women in the World Foundation. The money will help to provide a school for 40 girls ages 4-12 where the young and brave girl lives.
Jolie spoke of the powerful and positive outcome of the attack. Malala could be seen and heard via video.
While Angelina does not always hit her fashion mark she always makes her mark in the world. It would be impossible not to admire a woman who has it all and gives it her all. She is truly amazing and just lovely.
