Angelina Jolie wedding news! It sounds as if Brad Pitt and Angie are getting ready to tie the knot. Not only are they ready and willing, with the sentimental jewelry in hand at home that can seal the deal they will definitely be able to get married virtually any day. Rumor mills started reporting the news on Dec. 7, 2012 that they have picked up their wedding rings from one of their favorite jewelers, Neil Lane.
Hollywood insiders believe the famous couple are quietly planning to hold the top-secret ceremony some time before New Years Eve. While earlier reports simply suggested that the celebrity couple had sent a personal assistant out to nab the nifty baubles, real Brangelina fans have held out hope that a sentimental Brad might have figured out a way to sneak past the paparazzi cameras to make the final wedding ring grab.
The actor -- who actually designed her engagement ring personally -- has been very hands-on about the wedding. Not only has he been in charge of most of the event planning, he has been personally involved with helping to remodel the famous families celebrity estate in the South of France. There, the hot Hollywood celebrities are expected to hold a very small gathering of friends and family for their nuptials.
But some rumor mills are reporting he did no such thing for his fair lady. Yahoo OMG (for example) reports,
According to In Touch magazine, Pitt, 48, and Jolie, 37, are gearing up to walk down the aisle by sending their stylist pick up wedding rings, the Daily Mail reported.
"On November 27, a stylist for the actress picked up wedding rings from Neil Lane jewelers for the couple," the magazine said.
Since only 20 or so people are expected to attend the wedding, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expected to spare no expense when it comes to entertaining. While they are unlikely to throw a lavish and expensive 10 million-dollar bash like Brad's ex Jennifer Aniston is allegedly planning with her fiancé Justin Theroux, they are expected to serve only the tastiest of dinner selections and wedding reception treats to their guests.
Word in celebrity gossip circles is that Brad Pitt actually selected the wine list himself, pairing each course with the wine that complements the food the best. Several of the wines were actually made from grapes grown on the estate grounds. One of the wines is even called 'Pink Floyd', a wine named in tribute to the famous band who once used their palatial celebrity home as a recording studio.
And, while a Neil Lane ring might not sound that exciting as of late since their jewelry store has been essentially bum rushed by famous faces as of late, chances are that whatever wedding band the celebrities have picked out will be a simple design. With the exception of him looking like a hobo most days, when it comes to picking out designer jewelry both seem to have impeccable taste.
