'Who is Salt?' Is Angelina Jolie Salt? Am I Salt? Is Salt a spy? A Russian? Well, you will have to watch the movie to find out. Angelina Jolie and Liev Schreiber star in this latest action packed thriller directed by Phillip Noyce.
The movie will be released on July 23rd, this Friday and already has people saying that it will take the number 1 spot at the box office from Leonardo DiCaprio and his brilliant movie 'Inception'. I feel like Hollywood has really stepped it up this summer, releasing a number of great and thoughtful movies, that aren't just #3, 4 and 5 of what has been a successful franchise for a studio.
The plot of 'Salt' is as follows as per IMDB:
"As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who is Salt?"
Both trailers look intriguing and I am hoping that there will be a great twist ending. Angelina Jolie always seems to pick good movie roles and I am sure that this will be another hit for her. And if the fans surrounding Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the 'Salt' premiere are anything to go by, the movie will do extremely well.

Looks interesting. Of course I would watch Angelina Jolie in a non-interesting movie, but a good movie would be preferable.

it looks like lots of action & was filmed in my tiny hometown at a brand new movie studio on long island. i'm really looking forward to this one.
