Angela Bassett is hoping the sequel for Waiting to Exhale movie happens. The actress who was part of the first movie has heard her share of rumors about the project, but on Thursday she dished with fans that there is hope for the project as the script is being put together behind the scenes. Sitting down with Wendy Williams the entertainer was asked about all the fanfare behind a sequel and Angela Bassett actually looked excited talking about the idea of the movie.
“I certainly hope so,” said Angela Bassett on the Wendy Williams Show. “They keep working on the script and they keep dangling out there before us.”
While it has taken years for anyone to even suggest there is a script in the works, the idea of a sequel being a possibility has the fans squealing for joy. One of the most beloved films, the idea of a follow-up on the story line has many wondering what has taken so long to develop the idea.
