Culture vulture? Angel City Brewery is collaborating with the DO ART Foundation to honor the best of Los Angeles culture at the 2nd Annual Heritage Music & Arts Festival. Join the celebration at the Public House at Angel City Brewery on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bring your friends. Admission is free!

Musical performances by Katisse, the Daniel Rosenboom Septet, PLOTZ!, Falls, Wunder Wunder, Michael Jost, and The Get Down Boys amp up the party. Chow down at the urban beer picnic - an outdoor music and beer garden featuring a variety of food trucks to patronize, including Kogi Truck, Dogtown Dogs, Hurricane Kitchen and Grill 'Em All. Suck on beer popsicles (It is a brewery!) or try pairings by Si Paletas. Brewery tours and beer tastings are also on tap. Check out the photo tank, the ACB Canvas Public Painting Project, photographs of the Arts District by Downtown Muse Melissa Richardson Banks, live painting by the DO ART Foundation, theatrical performances by Frontierville and the outdoor artisan bazaar in the triangle. Get your game on in the Angel City arcade. Play Corn Hole, Ladder Toss, ping pong, darts, and board games.

Given the location, there will be special beer releases including Imperial Tart Cherry, Barrel-Aged Rye Lager, Mexican-Style Cola Ale, French Sip, Imperial Chai Stout, and Oktoberfest. The usual draft flavors including White Nite, Angeleno IPA, Eureka! Wit, and Gold Line Pilsner are also available.

Cheers!
