Alum Andy Samberg is back to host the season finale of “Saturday Night Live” on May 17, 2014. Indie rocker St. Vincent (Annie Clark) is the musical guest, according to NBC. To promote the upcoming show, Andy and “SNL” cast member Kenan Thompson filmed some funny, funny clips.

In promos for the show, Andy and Kenan run for cover after an armed onlooker hates their loud promo; Kenan is happy to have the same old Andy back… until Andy demands a graphic that announces his Golden Globe win for starring in the Fox sitcom “Brooklyn Nine-Nine;” Andy and Kenan do yoga together, causing them pain and second thoughts; the two men share a special moment when Andy learns Kenan planted pink flowers for him in a rooftop garden; Andy and Kenan compete for the “Promo of the Year” award; and Andy thinks Bette Midler sang every song, ever, after the two men frolic the day away.

Although at one point it looks like the promo is over, it actually is not. The two men return and are tongue tied, making strange inaudible sounds, while seemingly and incomprehensibly able to understand one another.

As mentioned, Andy currently stars in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” as Detective Jake Peralta. His costars including Terry Crews (“Everybody Hates Chris”) as Seargeant Terry Jeffords, Stephanie Beatriz as Detective Rosa Diaz, and Andre Braugher (“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”) as Captain Ray Holt. The hit sitcom has been picked up for a second season to air this fall.

According to St. Vincent’s website, her new album, “St. Vincent,” is now available worldwide. She is slated to go on tour in the UK this summer beginning Aug. 19. Her first performance will be at the Junction in Cambridge, England. Then, in December of this year, St. Vincent joins The Black Keys on tour.

The season finale of “Saturday Night Live” airs on May 17, 2014 at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
