Andy Cohen revealed to Bethenny Frankel last week that he wasn’t really ready to have children, but that he was taking the next step in expanding his little family of one. He was preparing to adopt a dog and he now has the puppy at home with him. And he is now dishing the details of his new pride and joy. According to a new Bravo blog published on Oct. 22, Andy Cohen is now revealing details about his new dog.
Andy decided to adopt a little beagle-foxhound mix from See Spot Resched from a West Virginia kill shelter. "I've been thinking about a dog for a while," he has revealed recently. "I just felt like I wanted to open my life up to a dog and I thought rescuing a dog was the right way to go." And fans who may know Andy well won’t be surprised at the name has chosen. Andy is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and he is thinking about naming his dog after one of the players. "I think I'm going to call him Wacha," he has revealed.
And it sounds like Andy can handle having a new pup. "He's really behaved," says Andy. "The first night, he brought me his leash and was telling me, 'I have to pee!' I was like, 'Wow, this dog is incredible!'" And it sounds like Andy may be the one who needs to get used to having a dog. "I'm just trying to figure it out," he says. "The morning pee run is just going to be killer, but I have to say, this weekend was amazing walking him. He's really great!"
