On Jan. 22, Andy Cohen, also known as Bravo Andy, appeared on a special entertainment segment of “Today.” During his guest appearance, he talked about the Presidential Inauguration and heaped loads of compliments on First Lady Michelle Obama and performers Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson. He also confirmed the “swatting” prank against Kim Kardashian.
“Today” host Hoda Kotb, who appeared on Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Monday, asked Andy about his thoughts on Michelle Obama’s new look, which premiered during Monday’s Presidential Inauguration. Concerning her new daring haircut, Cohen said, “It could have gone either way. I loved the bangs!” He also loved Michelle Obama's outfits, especially her outwear from Thom Brown. "I thought the coat was gorgeous!"
In addition to Michelle Obama, Andy Cohen also loved Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson’s performances. “Before Beyonce sang, she surveyed the crowd like a queen,” he said on “Today.” He loved how she pulled out her earpiece and gave it her all. Cohen also loved Kelly Clarkson’s performance. “I expected greatness from Beyonce. Kelly Clarkson, who I’ve always loved, just totally blew me away.”
When the conversation veered away from the Presidential Inauguration, Andy conformed that Kim Kardashian was a victim of “celebrity swatting” over the weekend. “People call 911 and claim that there’s an emergency at a celebrity’s house and then the LAPD freaks out and sends a SWAT team and helicopters over to that celebrity’s house. It happened at the Kardashian’s last week and Chris Brown’s yesterday,” he confirmed on Tuesday. Cohen stated that the pranksters should be prosecuted if caught.
