Can you imagine what might happen if you have the power of Google Now with Android apps on your wrist? Google has long promised that we would have computers we could wear and now they are delivering on the promise.

Today Google announced Android Wear. On the official Google Blog they announced this product in the form of watches—smartwatches as it were. According to their blog you will be able to not only tell the time but find the power of Google at your fingertips, even having voice activation.

Some of the obvious benefits of such products including notifications, apps (e.g., fitness, maps) and quick responses while keeping interactions to a minimum. With the voice activation feature all you have to do is say “O.K. Google” and you’re on your way.

So, when will you be able to buy this? Right now Google is working with device makers from Asus and LG to Intel and Fossil to start production. LG is currently working on the LG G Watch and Motorola is working on the Moto 360.
