Change log details of the next Google OS update, Android 4.4.3 KitKat has surfaced online. The new build includes a number of much needed fixes for issues that have plagued Nexus device owners.

Device owners of the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Nexus 5 have been experiencing problems since the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update landed. As Gotta Be Mobile reports (March 30), a release date for the Android 4.4.3 update loaded with fixes, depends on how well internal testing goes.

The leaked unofficial changelog includes bug fixes that reportedly address issues regarding data connection drops, camera problems, random reboot bug, VPN issues, Wi-Fi auto-connect and more.

The changelog leak comes after reports that Android 4.4.3 KitKat test builds were spotted running on the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013 version). Device owners of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 are also likely to receive the update as well, since they encounter the same issues.

According to Android Police, an unnamed source provided a screenshot from a Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.3 KitKat, build number KTU8 along with the following list of bug fixes:

  • mm-qcamera-daemon crash and optimization fixes

  • Camera focus in regular and HDR modes fixes

  • Power Manager display wakelock fix

  • Multiple Bluetooth fixes

  • Random reboot fix

  • App shortcuts sometimes disappear from launcher after update

  • USB debugging security fix

  • App shortcuts security fix

  • Wi-Fi auto-connect fix

  • Other camera fixes

  • MMS, Email/Exchange, Calendar, People/Dialer/Contacts, DSP, IPv6, VPN fixes

  • Stuck in activation screen fix

  • Missed call LED fix

  • Subtitle fixes

  • Data usage graph fix

  • Internet telephony fix

  • FCC compliance fix

  • Miscellaneous fixes
