News is out and Erin Andrews will replace Pam Oliver on the sidelines as the reporter talking to everyone this season on the NFL. On Monday, Yahoo shared the big news about Pam getting a big demotion and not being the sideline reporter. Erin Andrews was on "Dancing With the Stars" last season and it will be interesting to see if she can keep up with both jobs.

It sounds like Oliver knew that this was coming. She spoke out and said, "I think it was predetermined coming in. Not at that meeting, but two years ago it was determined that no matter what I did or did not do, a change would be made for this year." Pam did this job for 19 years and so it isn't shocking that it is time for her to move on. It sounds like she did want to get a 20th year.

She said, "But I live in the real world and I know that television tends to get younger and where women are concerned. Just turn on your TV. It’s everywhere. And I’m not saying these younger girls don’t deserve a chance. I know I’ve had my turn." It seems like she is taking the news pretty well and loves that she had her time.

This will be a really big change for the NFL. Fans are going to have to get used to Erin on the sidelines. A lot of people didn't really care for her on "Dancing With the Stars" due to her strong personality. It seems like she is a better fit for the sports and NFL world. It might be hard for her to handle both of these jobs but only time will tell if she will give up "Dancing With the Stars" and stay where she is a better fit in the sports world.
