Andrew Scott and Hugh O'Conor talk about their new comedy, the fact that Hugh was two years ahead of Andrew when they were at school in Dublin together, and what it's like to be naked in November in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. Andrew mentions that O'Conor was in the Irish film 'My Left Foot' with Daniel Day-Lewis, which was a very big deal. He played the younger version of Christy Brown, the handicapped writer which Day-Lewis won the Academy Award for playing in the grown-up role. Scott said they've been following each other's work for twenty years.
John Butler and Peter McDonald, and Brian Gleeson and Michael Legge, are paired up in two other videos, which are also available on the linked page. There may have been a bit of jet lag going on for some of the guys, it seems, but they are all very personable and informative. Also - in the case of Andrew - very funny.
Andrew also mentioned that he is currently shooting Ken Loach's movie, 'Jimmy's Hall' in Ireland and will return there on Thursday to finish his role. All in all, with the film at TIFF, the Tom Hardy flick, 'Locke' at the Venice Film Festival and the Loach film, Andrew is one busy actor.
