Last night Andrew Scott and his family happily posed for photos at the press night for the Hackney Empire's production of 'Puss in Boots' in London. Follow the link here for a slide show of Scott, his pretty sister-in-law (who appears to be expecting) and her two adorable daughters, the younger of whom is excitedly clutching her famous uncle-in-law's hand, along with shots of Frances O'Connor (Mr. Selfridge) and other British celebrities, many with their children, who turned out for the Christmas event in the east end of the nation's capitol.
The production of the children's story, 'Puss in Boots' is one of the many pantos on for the holidays this year as they are between December and January each year. The old British theatrical style called "panto" according to a very good article on About.com is "a peculiarly British tradition of winter musical comedy theater....It is probably the noisiest, rowdiest sort of theatre you can attend (with the whole family) in Britain." Sounds like a lot of fun for adults and children alike.
