Andrew Lincoln feared 'The Walking Dead' took disturbing to a new level

Andrew Lincoln actually asked “The Walking Dead” folks if “we might be going a little too far” when it came to filming tonight’s finale. It is the story line for Rick that Lincoln said people should be frightened after watching. He had just spoken to someone who saw the ending and “they were freaking out a bit,” according to Yahoo TV on March 29.

Let’s face it, for Lincoln to ask if “The Walking Dead” has gone too far this time, you know it has to be something that tops the already gruesome acts that viewers have witnessed from this series so far. After watching Herschel get decapitated and Michonne take off the arms and jaws of her walker sidekicks, what could be worse?

Rick will be pushed to "his true limit" in the finale Sunday night and while you may think you’ve seen this with Rick when Laurie died, you didn’t. His limit will be reached this time around. When asked about Sunday night’s finale, Lincoln said in his recent interview:

“All I will say is that when I read [the script], I called up Scott Gimple, and I said, "Scott, we've always been incredibly responsible with where we go and the darkness and the brutality of the world that we inhabit. Do you think we may be going a little bit far on this?"

Lincoln continued with saying, “He said, ‘No, no, not at all,’ and when I did it, when I did the scene, like most things Scott Gimple says, he was right, and it made complete sense. It is a definite evolution.”

Rick is going to be in some situation in tonight’s finale that is beyond all imagination. Rumors of not one, but a few key cast members meeting their demise have also been circulating online today.

One of the most disturbing predictions centers on Terminus and what that sanctuary is really about. You can read the gory assumptions here:
