According to Huffington Post on Wednesday, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2's" Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were taking a leisurely stroll in New York City. They were planning on taking in a breakfast when they had a surprise for the paparazzi. In fact, fans may even nod their head and utter the words "touche'" when it comes to such a situation that can lead to a good cause.
Stone and Garfield were pretty much prepared for the situation for they knew the shutter flies were lurking and getting ready to do what they do best. The "Spider-Man" celebrities held up small signs in front of their faces, but that didn't stop the paparazzi for they both had a message to send to them, and if word got out, to the rest of the world. In fact, one of the small signs they had displayed showed a listing of charitable websites for those interested in contributing.
Stone's sign said the following:
"Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do --->"
There was an arrow pointing towards Garfield in an "I'm with Stupid" fashion as his sign read:
Garfield and Stone weren't the only one's recently promoting a cause. J.J. Abrams recently made a public service announcement giving fans an opportunity to enter a contest to actually be on the set "Star Wars 7." Abrams was promoting the UNICEF organization as a charity initiative called "Star Wars: A Force for Change" where this gives an opportunity to contribute funds to a cause for the purpose of helping children all around the world.
Abrams served a dual purpose by bringing out a surprise costumed character that teased what some of the aliens and creatures that had been synonymous with the George Lucas old-school "Star Wars" films starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher. "Star Wars 7" started its filming in Abu Dhabi and continues production at a Pinewood Studios location in the UK.
