Andrew Bogut out indefinitely for Bucks

Milwaukee will be without starting Center Andrew Bogut tonight against the Bulls and indefinitely after fracturing his ankle Wednesday night in the Bucks 105-99 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Bogut sustained the injury in the first quarter after coming down awkwardly on a Houston player’s foot after attempting to block a shot.

An MRI on Thursday confirmed the fracture and according to Racine Journal Times, a CT scan will be performed today to determine the extent of the fracture which should help determine a more definitive time frame for his return.

Bogut is averaging 11.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2 blocks in eight games for the season.

BULLS NOTES

Taj Gibson could be back in the rotation tonight as well as the high left ankle sprain, he suffered last Friday in Cleveland and has caused him to miss the past three games, has responded well to treatment and rest.

Luol Deng’s left wrist is also improving as it looks like he is indeed eyeing playing in Sunday’s highly anticipated matchup against the Miami Heat in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.

While Deng’s left wrist will require surgery to repair a torn ligament, he feels he can play through the pain as he wants to help the Bulls fight for a title.
