Andrei Arlovski agrees with me Fedor is not as good as the Mighty Brock Lesnar. I have been telling all you people for months now that Fedor is just hype. Brock Lesnar is the meanest man alive and Andrei knows it too.

Andrei is asked if Fedor is the best P4P fighter in the world, Arlovski replies ''No, he's a great great fighter but he's not ''super human''.
He is then asked (around the 28.00 mark) who is the best P4P fighter in the world and he replies ''After seeing Lesnar vs Mir, i'm going to go with Brock Lesnar''

I'm no Fedor fanatic, but to say Brock is better is BEYOND laughable. Brock isn't even in the same stratosphere as Fedor. What else is Arlovski supposed to say after he got demolished by Fedor... and that "other" guy. He's trying to dave a little face. If Brock and Fedor were to meet in the next year or so, you and Andrei will be eating your words. Mark my words, Brock stands no realistic chance of beating Fedor at this point in his career or any time soon. His size will give anyone problems, but against a guy like Fedor those problems will be solved rather quickly.
Brock would get submitted in under two minutes.

First of all, what does it matter? Why are you writing and speculating about totally moot points. Brock Lesnar has not had enough fights to be declared the most skilled fighter on the planet. When he gets to over 10 wins with no losses, he's a 1/3rd of the way. When he gets to 20 wins no losses, he'll be 2/3rds of the way there. When he gets to 30 wins and no losses, then you can write some ill thought out blurb about your opinion as to who's the best. Meanwhile, Fedor should be one of the most respected fighters in MMA history as he is a proven champion and more importantly a champion of good character. He's one of the few that has his ego in check, unlike you "Grandmaster" the author of this very silly column. And for me to actually take the time to write this is even more silly.

A case can maybe be made for Brock being the best heavyweight (although I'd disagree), but best pound for pound? Ridiculous.

I remember watching Fedor fight big nog back in 2003. This is when people thought big nog was the greatest. Fedor destroyed him. Then I saw him beat Heath Herring, Mark Coleman twice, Big Nog again. Interestingly enough, these fighters all still fight for the UFC right now. I think he is 8 and 0 against former UFC champions. Maybe Brock would beat him, but to say Fedor is hype is very silly sounding. Brock can fight, but he is only 4 and 1. Fedor, 30-1-1
Brock is just for show and Fedor is built to go. Fedor hails a background of serious training and professional attitude. Fedor is more skilled, fast and powerful than Brock. I really don't see any sense comparing a legend with a naive. As far as Andrei is concerned, you expect him to be talking against Fedor because Fedor beat Andrei on his grounds i.e. knocked out with a punch the same skill that Andrei was very proud of before the fight....

Fedor had the chance to prove all his fans right, but decided to punk out and sign with a low level promotion. IMO he is scared of the talent in the HW division in the UFC. Fedor has been fighting tomato cans for years, however impressive wins over over-rated Tim Silvia and Over the hill Alovski make him look better than he really is. Plain and Simple Fedor did not man up to face the best.
Fedor not signing with the UFC just because of his M1 promotion is just cover, he was going to make 6 mill per fight in the octagon. I think he was scared to scar his ego and reputation.

He picks Lesnar for the best pound for pound fighter???? Does he realize the question? Lesnar has a great wrestling background, but GSP is a much better one. Lesnar has improved his striking a bit, but he is no where near the calibur of GSP or Anderson Silva.
One might be able to make the argument that Lesnar is the best heavyweight, but no one in their right mind would try to make the argument that he is the best Pound for Pound fighter.
