Andrea Wilson, professional hair stylist to the stars, talks about the role of hairstyles at the DL 1961 Fall 2013 fashion show last week. She used T3 hair tools (ie., Featherweight Luxe 2i and SinglePass) and Bumble and Bumble hair products (ie., Thickening Hairspray) on the models at backstage to prep them for the runway at the DL 1961 Fall 2013 fashion show. Per Andrea, hair for the DL 1961 Fall 2013 collection is clean, sleek and straight, but not too clean and not too sleek. All the models have a deep side part on the right side of their hair, so the designer's unique collar can be seen on the runway. Andrea used T3's SinglePass Flat Iron (its gorgeous handle is full of bling, bling), which makes hair polished and straight with just one single pass!
Andrea also models an incredibly sexy pair of DL 1961 jeans. She looked amazing in the jeans and confessed she's not really that small, but she sure does look slendar in those jeans! As you can tell from this video, it lifts her buttocks, slims her thighs, and looks fabulous on her (DL 1961 should make Andrea their spokes model)! After seeing these sexy DL 1961 jeans on Andrea, and how it hugs her every curve in all the right places, I want to get a couple of pairs in different colors to match my various outfits.
The creative stylist to the stars (and also quite a comedian), shared some of her professional styles and hair tools for a bad weather hair day (if you don't want to wear a wig). Andrea likes Cutler Fly Away Control Stick, which works great on hair on a rainy day, as it keeps moisture out of hair. She also recommends both a blow dryer such as the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i which very lightweight to dry hair first, and a flat iron such as T3 SinglePass to polish, seal and and straighten hair (both of these T3 hair styling tools were also used backstage at the DL 1961 Fall 2013 Fashion Show).
