Johnson left with two left in regulation after Pollard connected with him on a shoulder to helmet hit. Earlier in the week Pollard was fined $42,000 for the hit, and despite the Texans 30-24 overtime win, Johnson was questionable on his status for Sunday's game.
"He’s doing really good. Expectations are for him to practice tomorrow with his pads on and that’s the last stage before you can before on to playing again. So the expectations are for him to be able to do that. If today’s an indicator, then we should be there tomorrow,” said head coach Gary Kubiak.
Kubiak is very optimistic that Johnson will return against the Baltimore Ravens on Sundays after he pass a series of concussion test.
Johnson will be ready to play as he always is, however rushing him back too soon could be costly down the line.
