Anderson Gardens hosts 2nd Guest Chef Dinner, April 20th.

The Anderson Gardens will host their second Guest Chef Dinner on Saturday April 20th. The dinner will feature a four course meal prepared by Rockford chef Al Castogiovanni of Alchemy and Giovanni's. Each course will be paired with a cocktail created with Death's Door Spirits by master mixologist, Grant Hurless.

The Anderson Gardens are located on Spring Creek Road, a few blocks from Rock River and the University of IL School of Medicine. The gardens are beautiful and the most well kept in the city of Rockford, IL.

This is a family style dinner where guests will seat themselves at long tables. Cocktail social hour will begin at 5:30 pm, with seating for dinner beginning at 6:30 pm. The cost for the event is $85.00 per person (this does not include any tax or gratuity). The space is limited, and the guest must make reservations by Tuesday, April 9th. Guest must be 21 years old to attend.

The Anderson Japanse Gardens, located at 318 Spring Creek Road, is know to be the highest quality Japanese garden in North America by Sukiya Living magazine since 2004. The gardens are on a 12 acre award-winning landscape site, and is composed of koi-filled ponds, winding pathways, gentle streams, plunging waterfallsand raked gravel gardens. Its model is patterened after a traditional architecture and a beautiful sight to behold.
