Anderson Cooper kissed by Madonna at the GLAAD Awards? When Madonna presented Cooper with an award at the show, Anderson Cooper wasted no time in getting a little extra familiar with the Material Girl while on stage.
As you can see in the photo, Anderson Cooper kissed Madonna at the GLAAD Awards once he received the Vito Russo Award. This particular award goes to a gay person in the professional media who is deemed an inspiration for their continued interest in promoting equality rights for all.
Anderson Cooper came out of the closet just one year ago, proudly telling the world that “I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn't be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.”
Madonna has some experience with impromptu kisses such as this. Ten years ago, Madonna kissed Britney Spears at a MTV Awards show. It received a lot of buzz due to the fact that Britney was at the height of her popularity, and some in the media assumed she would eventually take the pop star’s throne.
That, of course you could argue, has since been passed onto Lady Gaga.
Anderson Cooper works as a TV host for CNN. He also has a daytime talk show, as well.
