It's like the board game "Life," you wake up one day and you do not like where you are, you feel like you are in a rut. Then bang, you are out the gate and the changes are coming at you fast and hard. At some point in your life you asked for this change, so buck up and get used to it, you are just getting started.
Just like you are the one in control of your "game piece" in the game "Life" to a certain extent, God is in charge of you and how you move through life. So you asked for "change" and God hears you, and He says to you in so many words, all the ways other than actually getting in your face and telling you, "What the heck are you doing all the way back there, you are supposed to be all the way up here by me."
You got stuck. So he reaches down and he is going to move you along the path, just like you move your game piece from the beginning or the middle, where ever it is that you are in the game. He scoots you up to where he is standing and to where you are supposed to be in your lessons.
When this happens the changes come fast and they come hard. You feel like your life is in a tailspin. You may have just stood up and brushed yourself off after the last one and here comes anther one. You may even feel like you are moving backwards instead of forwards.
You couldn't or wouldn't make the changes you were supposed to in your life, that move you forward on the game board for what ever reason. The reasons matter only so that you learn from them: illness, addiction, codependancy, death, lies, traumas, abuse, money issues. So God does it for you, he moves you back up to speed, further along on the game board. Now, you may proceed in life from here.
You should get rid of those "rose colored glasses" now. You are being moved from less into more. Every little thing you do from this point on is like magic. It works for you, you asked, in your past and now, you are receiving. Be careful what you wish for because it just might happen.
