And the Razzie award goes to...

For 30 years now, the Golden Raspberry Awards have awarded individuals for being the worst of the worst in their art. To put how long this tradition has been going on in Hollywood: Sylvester Stallone has won ten times and been nominated 30! The committee 650 journalists, and fans vote on the Raspberry awards, and they hold the ceremony the day before the Oscars and afterwards show "Can't stop the music" and "Xanadu". This time around the main focus was because of the best actress category, where Sandra Bullock was nominated for "All about Steve" and for an Oscar for "The blind side".

Sandra Bullock actually won the Razzie for worst actress for "All about Steve" and worst on screen duo/couple for the same movie, an honor she shared with co-star Bradley Cooper. She made a statement a couple of weeks ago stating that she would go and receive the award if she were to win it, and now the Razzies are waiting. If she were to win the Oscar tomorrow she would become the first actress to win the Razzie and Oscar the same year. The Oscars will air tomorrow on ABC at 5 PT/8ET.

The big winner was "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen", which won worst picture of the year, worst screenplay and worst director for explosive addict Michael Bay. The film was the second biggest film of 2009, after "Avatar" which can technically be considered 2010, and one of the biggest of the past decade. The third installment is already on pre-production, and expect that film to dominate the 2011 Razzies as well.

Disney was also a big winner with Billy Ray Cyrus winning worst supporting actor for "Hannah Montana: the movie" and the three Jonas brothers winning worst actor. Surprisingly the Twilight crew did not win any awards, an achievement they should be really proud of.

Because of their 30th anniversary the Razzies celebrated the worst films of the decade. The worst film of the decade was given to "Battlefield Earth", the worst actor award to Eddie Murphy, for almost every movie he has starred in this decade, and the worst actress award to actress/singer/socialite Paris Hilton for all the movies she has been in.

Whatever New Moon shouldn't have been on here. Maybe for duo but it wasn't the worse sequel. I've seen worse.
