The "Anchorman 2" premiere in Dublin created quite the buzz Monday night (Dec. 9). Strolling the red carpet were Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner, who are back for the sequel. According to a report from late Monday, the four stars also treated the audience to a chorus of "Happy Birthday" to Ireland.

It sounds like Ferrell was his comedic self at the event, stating "I'd love to sail around the entire country some day and be rescued by the Irish Coast Guard." Will family connections in the area, he reportedly enjoyed spending time there to help premiere the film. It's also one of the first stops before the stars head back to the United States for the premiere in Hollywood.

For fans of the first film, Fandango is offering a really intriguing package for those looking to really experience the sequel. Fans can see the film two days before its general release and even get a digital download of the sequel. That's not all, either, as the price of this Superticket will also provide an alternate version of the first film as well as a $5 voucher for AMC concessions.

The Superticket has information already available on Fandango, detailing everything it has to offer. The biggest benefit to that ticket is that fans can watch the movie on Monday, Dec. 16. The wide release of the film doesn't come till Wednesday, Dec. 18.

Many more "Anchorman 2" premieres will be taking place over the next few days, culminating in the early release to U.S. theaters next week.
