Anchor Bay To Release 'The Walking Dead: The Complete Fourth Season'

The Walking Dead:The Complete Fourth Season (Avail. Aug 26)

Whether its evading walkers, resisting a super flu, escaping their prison safe-haven or searching for a “sanctuary” called Terminus, the on-going story of a group of zombie apocalypse survivors under the protective watch of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continues to capture the imagination of viewers all over the world.

Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s “The Walking Dead” has enjoyed its most successful season ever with Season 4 - with an average of 13+ million viewers per episode.

Fans of the series who are finding it hard to wait for new “dead” material will rejoice as Anchor Bay Entertainment brings “The Walking Dead: The Complete Fourth Season” to DVD / BLU-RAY + Digital HD with Ultraviolet on August 26th.

Each format contains five discs, presenting each episode exactly as it was originally broadcast on AMC. Blu-Ray and Digital HD with Ultraviolet versions present the episodes in pristine 1080p high-definition and lossless Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio.

The new package also rewards fans with hours of bonus extras - including never before seen production footage, deleted scenes and audio commentary. In addition to the aforementioned features, the Blu-Ray version includes several “extended” episodes.

Another tradition of Walking Dead releases is the unique concept of packaging by McFarlane Toys and this package is no different. Following in the footsteps of Season 2’s “Walker Head” and Season 3’s “Walker Aquarium”, Season 4 will also be available in a limited edition “Tree Walker” package offering die-hard fans the ultimate Walking Dead package.

Bonus Features:

Audio Commentary for Episodes 1, 5, 9 (Blu-Ray / Tree Walker only), 12 and 14
