Fans were crushed to her that singer Anastacia's cancer has returned. The “Sick and Tired” singer battled the disease once in 2003, and she announced via her website on Feb. 27 that it has returned. Unfortunately Anastacia has had to cancel her European tour as a result.
All of the commitments the singer had in place for the foreseeable future have been canceled as a result of Anastacia's cancer recurrence. Her “It's a Man's World” tour was slated to begin April 6 in London. She notes that she feels awful disappointing her fans and it breaks her heart, but of course her fans completely understand.
The singer has been surrounded by fan love and support via her Twitter page, and she did share an additional short update Thursday. Anastacia tweeted, “News abt Cancer- Yes it has come back, yes i'm fighting it, but ths time the battle is a pretty intense. Thank U 4 yr luv&prayers [sic].” Cancer is a brutal disease to battle once, and certainly nobody wants to have to tackle it a second time.
While fans are devastated to learn of Anastacia's cancer return, they are clearly sending her plenty of support as she fights hard to beat it off once again.
