Michael Pachter has issued a statement as to why he believes that the upcoming multiplatform title, “GTA 5,” won’t be released for the PS4 and Xbox 720. In his latest episode of the Pach-Attack from Game Trailers that was published on March 2, the analyst disclosed that Rockstar Games could release the latest video game from the “Grand Theft Auto” series for the next-generation systems but they chose not to. He explained that this is because the company has been “slow to adapt to new technologies.” Moreover, the PS4 and Xbox 720 ports wouldn’t be “up to their standards.” You can check out some screens from the open-world action-adventure title in the slideshow at the top of this article.
Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox 720 will be launching in the North American region sometime this holiday season.
“GTA 5” was previously delayed from its spring release to Sept. 17. The sequel, which is being developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, is currently slated to come out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. You can pre-order the game in the following link: “GTA 5”
