Vinny’s Vibe: Duke coach David Cutcliffe is piling-up the coach of the year awards for one of the greatest seasons in Duke football history. A win would give Duke its first bowl win since the 1961 Cotton Bowl. The player to watch for the Blue Devils is safety/return specialist Devon Edwards. He’s a second-team All-American who had a 3 return-game earlier this season. Duke is extremely outmatched in this game. I know Duke will be thrilled to be there and Texas A&M may be disappointed, but the size, speed and talent difference is clear. I don’t care what the public message has been from Johnny Manziel, he’s gone to the NFL after this game. WR Mike Evans, who I thought was the best receiver in the country, is going as well. I think those offensive weapons will want to put on a show, and they will. The Aggies will give up some plays on defense, but I don’t see any way Duke slows down the high-powered, dynamic Texas A&M offense.
