Earlier this week, Cheeto from Good Mews Animal Foundation in Marietta, posted a thank you to everyone who had donated towards his medical care fund. At the time, Cheeto was awaiting a day of medical tests that he hoped would determine the cause of his seizures. Click here to read the previous posting about Cheeto.
Cheeto posted the following update earlier today on the Good Mews Facebook page:
“YAWN . . . Cheeto here . . . just got up from a long nap! Sorry it has taken me so long to give you an update, but I had a really long day at GVS yesterday and wanted to sleep in today.
So, I had my MRI. All the doctors and staff at GVS were great and so nice to me. I sure love them! But the doctors reviewed the results and everything was normal. Which I guess is a good thing, huh? I don’t have a tumor or anything. But they said I am epileptic. So I will have to be on anti-seizure medication for the rest of my life. And my weight will have to be closely monitored as I grow into a big boy, so they can keep me on the appropriate dose.
Thank you again for donating towards my medical costs, so we could find out what was wrong with me. And I really appreciate all of the love and support you have given me this week. It really helped me stay positive, knowing there were people out there that cared about me!”
