If you are seeking one of the best restaurant experiences in the world, look no further than New York City's Le Cirque. Located at 151 E 58th Street, Le Cirque offers an elegant, refined dining experience with just enough cheer and attention from staff to avoid the atmosphere from being stuffy.
The one thing you'll need to dine at Le Cirque is money. Prix Fixe lunch is $49 per person, and, dinner offers chef menus that begin at $95 per person. Of course, a la carte is an options, just be prepared to pay $46 for a scallop entree and $75 for Dover Sole. Is it really worth it? Yes!
For a less expensive option try Le Cirque Cafe which offers Prix Fixe lunch for $26 to $28 per person and dinner for $38 - $40 per person. (Prices vary depending upon how many courses are selected.) However, do be aware the selections in the Cafe are far more limited than the restaurant.
Diners will also want to take note that Le Cirque does have a dress code. "Dress Code: Gentlemen, jackets are required for the restaurant and kindly suggested for the cafe. Shorts and open shoes are not permitted. Ladies, dressy and elegant. Thank you." (Quoted from the website.)
