There is nothing better than a lemon martini with an olive.
There is nothing worse than an important that forces its way into the SPAM folder.
So I offer all readers an olive branch.
Because this is impornant news.
Olive Films is proud to announce the signing of a multi-year joint agreement with 108 Media, continuing the growth for both parties. Olive Films will be the exclusive home entertainment distributor of 108 Media's new releases and catalog within the packaged media arena (Blu-ray and DVD) in the U.S., while 108 Media will handle sales and distribution of Olive Films new releases and catalog titles to all digital and VOD platforms in the U.S. and Canada.
This deal was initiated by Martini Entertainment Senior Vice President, Eric D. Wilkinson, on behalf of Olive Films and negotiated with Abhi Rastogi, CEO of 108 Media.
Wilkinson expressed his enthusiasm stating, “I’m thrilled to be working with 108 Media as our digital and VOD partner. As Olive Films increases its acquisitions and output, digital is an extremely important part of our growth and 108 Media's success in this segment of the marketplace will allow us to expand to the next level."
“I am elated by this new partnership between 108 Media and Olive Films,” commented Rastogi. “Olive Films’ success as a home entertainment distributor will help 108 Media continue to flourish and we will do the same for them through the digital and VOD platforms.”
"108 Media has built a fantastic library of extraordinary films across all genres,” added Olive Films CEO Farhad Arshad. “Our company has enjoyed amazing growth in 2013 in regards to packaged media sales. 108 Media's steady output of new release product will be a great compliment to our continued release of classic Hollywood movies and give Olive Films the opportunity to expand and grow its business.”
Beginning in June 2014, all of 108 Media’s titles will be distributed exclusively by Olive Films starting with the thriller Honour starring Paddy Considine and the drama Autumn Blood starring Peter Stormare. Other upcoming titles include the award-winning animated family film Daisy: The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly, the hilarious comedy Fugly! starring John Leguizamo, Rosie Perez, Radha Mitchell, Griffin Dunne and Ally Sheedy and the thrilling horror film Shame The Devil starring Doug Bradley.
