Think you can't afford to treat the fam to a Sunday dinner out?
Cibo Racconto's Sunday Family Dinner is a four-course feast served family style and includes a choice of one side (Mac 'n' Cheese Puffs or the restaurant's signature Cibo Puffs with shredded zucchini and three cheeses); one salad (choose any from the menu, such as the Cibo Salad with mixed field greens, strawberries, pears, caramelized walnuts, and gorgonzola cheese in a balsamic dressing); two pasta dishes (choose any from the menu, including the popular Lumache Arrosto, shell-shaped pasta topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, roasted red peppers, and grilled Italian sausage); and one entrée (choose any from the menu, such as Chicken Vesuvio or Marsala, Eggplant Parmesan, or Italian Giambotta, with grilled Italian sausage and chicken breast simmered in garlic-white wine sauce).
Cibo Racconto's Sunday Family Dinner is priced at $36 for four people (plus tax). There is a $9 fee for each additional guest, and kids 5 and under eat for free. Enjoy Cibo Racconto's Sunday Family Dinner from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. every week.
Cibo Racconto is the restaurant extension of Racconto, an Italian import company that was started in 1973 by the Mugnolo family. The company has since grown into Chicagoland's top-selling imported Italian pasta brand. Straight-from-Italy offerings include San Marzano tomatoes, olive oils, vinegars, condiments and, of course, pastas imported directly to Chicago from Naples. Expect the fresh products as the star ingredients in Cibo Racconto's full menu of Italian dishes.
Cibo Racconto, located in near northwest suburban Rosemont near O'Hare International Airport, Allstate Arena, and the Rosemont Theatre, serves classic pasta dishes, flavorful sandwiches, stone-baked pizzas, and signature dishes such as the panizza (a pizza-panini hybrid). All creations are family recipes that are handed down through the generations.
