An interview with lesbian author of erotica TreSart L. Sioux

Photo of TreSart L. Sioux (Property Jolie du Pre)The beautiful lesbian author of lesbian erotica, TreSart L. Sioux, took some time out of her busy schedule to give an interview for my Examiner.com readers.

1. Do you have to be "turned on" in order to successfully write erotica?

I use to answer this with a yes, but not when I'm writing certain types of stories. My main goal is to keep the reader interested and hopefully turn them on!

2. Tell us about your latest release - I Hardly Knew You.

I Hardly Knew You is one of the darkest stories that has ever come out of me. It's a horror/erotica novella filled with extreme sex scenes and violence. The plot of the story is about a woman who goes to a seedy motel to have sex with another woman she has met at a bar. Needless to say, the other woman is not at all what she seems. I plan on working on the next novella for this very soon.

3. Why is there such a sexual connection between horror and erotica?

Well, I'm a huge horror fan along with erotica. I really enjoyed creating this because it's so different from what I normally write.

I think I've written mostly comedy/erotica, but when I look at all the stories I've accomplished, I see there is a large variety of different types of lesbians and the stories they have told.

4. Does your lesbian erotica draw upon personal experience?

Oh yes! I even wrote a story that was absolutely true about my life and my past lovers. I changed the names, but every single word was the truth.

It was a great way to release anger, sadness and remember the happy moments.

I also write material that maybe I had never experienced, but someone I know has. I'm not a swinger, but for my submission to Swing! I would send parts off to a friend of mine that is a swinger to make sure it was believable.

5. You're an erotica author, but you also create wonderful art work. Which of these do you love better and why?

I love doing them both, but have devoted more time to writing. Right now I have a pen and ink and a painting staring at me to finish. LOL!

There is a different feeling I get when I do one or the other, yet still the same. I go off into my own world without any distractions and either write or draw what I feel inside.
