The 2 Million Bikers event has obviously struck a resounding chord attracting international attention, much of it in deference to America's 'War on Terror' since the 9/11 attack. But, the detractors of the event also appear to be lining up and in earnest in many cases. AMPAC (American Muslim Political Action Committee) spokesperson Ruby Sous recently laid into the 2 million Biker group on the AMPAC Organization's Facebook page, by calling the Bikers a "counter-protest" and an "ad hoc group" while maintaining that the '2 Million Bikers' are somehow challenging the marching Muslim's civil rights while failing to mention the Muslim group's 'Truther' oriented aims which seeks to lay blame for the 9/11 terror attacks completely at the feet of the US Government.

AMPAC organizer Sous further stated:
"The bikers are going to DC to challenge us acting on our civil rights. They are challenging us because we want to be with all Americans when celebrating 9/11. They are challenging us because we want to rally against the bias media coverage of Muslims that continue to make Muslims the villains to scare the public.
See America, you are being fooled and manipulated again.
If we don't wake up now and seek the truth, our enemy will always divide us, make us hate one another, and at the end control us."
Interestingly, Sous characterization of bias against Islam in the media appears to clash exponentially with most traditional Americans views and even others in the international Community.
Experts tend to see more of a Progressive media bias fostering acceptance of the Islamist movement, even to the often scathing exclusion of both Judaism and Christian faiths. Rather than a media effort to "scare the public about Muslims," many believe that there is more of a media effort at calming post 9/11 US attitudes towards Islam. Journalist Dan Greenfield, states in a recent article, that leading Progressive media organizations such as the New York Times tend to dismiss and omit news articles negative towards Islam:
The incompatible Muslims, like Mohammed’s face, have been pixelated out of existence in the reports on terrorist attacks by disgruntled boxers, doctors and perfume salesmen who just happen to be Muslim. These are the Muslims that the media doesn’t see. And it is doing everything possible to make sure that we don’t see them either.
Nor does the line of '2 Million Bikers' detractors end at the AMPAC organization. One earlier article spoke to efforts by Leftist websites including 'Veteran's Today' as having falsely indicated that '2 Million Bikers' event co-founder 'Top Fuel" Bill Williamson had agreed to join in the Muslim March, along with many other members, which was later proven to be completely untrue after several attempts to take over the Group Leader's Facebook page.
Movement Drama
More recently was the news that National Park officials in Washington DC had denied the '2 Million Bikers' group a permit to ride through DC, despite Officials earlier having granted a permit to the original 'Million Muslim March' event to be held at the National Mall and outdoor pavilions. DC officials stated that the riders would in effect be too much of a disruption, to which National Event Organizer Belinda Bee states, "we didn't need a permit in the first place."
The Blaze website later published an article in which a leading DC Park official denied Bee's statements with regard to why the permit has been officially denied, stating that she had no idea why the permit has been refused. Organizer Bee responded with an actual email from the official in question proving that the DC official's statements were simply untrue.
But there have also been instances of internal conflict within the movement. The early power struggle for both Bee and Williamson began when several former administrators within the Bikers group had earlier accused organizers Bee and Williamson of fostering liaisons with both a Tea Party Group of 9/11 Truthers, and the Million Muslim March, as outlined within the Veteran's Today article stating that both the Muslim and Biker Groups planned on banding together in DC, inciting outrage, to which Bee published a statement of refutation:
I am sorry you folks believed their lies, had you paid any attention you would have seen Bill Williamson and I went ON AIR and IN WRITING to deny their lies! However, it seems some will continue to believe muslim rhetoric and continue to divide our great nation.
Despite Bee's and Williamson's announcements of complete dismissal, the group was showing signs of fracturing, prompting Bee to immediately get her story out to the website Conservative Refocus, a site well known to her and also to online news site, The Examiner, in addition to the Conservative Refocus Live radio show. The media strategy allowed thousands of members to both see and hear Bee's and Top Fuel Bill's articulate explanations on the supposed crisis.
The reasons for the internal group conflict at this juncture were grounded within the impetus of the ride's earlier origins as a counter-protest to the 'Million Muslim March of 9/11, it was only later that Bee and Williamson decided to transform the negatives of such an event into a positive in honoring the fallen of 9/11. The Group member's anger had indeed been understandable, based on the rumors which had been fostered by none other than the Muslim opposition group and its Left-wing media supporters.
However, Bee's plan of action worked brilliantly as the Conservative media articles viraled out all over both Facebook and the web as other sites and radio shows picked up the story, and the storm of member dissension immediately calmed. The crisis and ensuing power struggle would then ironically became a call to action as thousands of members turned their outrage at what had happened into a determined viraling effort.
Both Bee and Williamson had regained control of the event. The groups Facebook presence then went hyper-ballistic, from an impressive 33,000 likes to over 63,000 in just a matter of days, while the 2 million biker state precincts quickly took shape and began adding members. As of September 11, the Facebook "Likes" Have reached to well over 100,000 making the Bikers to DC group easily one of the most popular on Facebook.
The movement had become a stunning success.
As the 9/11 ride event quickly approaches for the '2 Million Bikers to DC' riders, event Organizers have announced the speakers and other details for the outset of the event.
Incoming riders will be meeting at the Harley-Davidson of Washington DC Dealership in Fort Washington, Maryland beginning at 8:00 am. At 10:00 am the event will kick into high gear with Co-Founder Belinda Bee offering a word of prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance along with initial remarks.
Next up will be a sole member rendition of The National Anthem, followed by originating co-founder "Top Fuel" Bill Williamson who will greet the riders and expound on the event's actual meaning while also introducing the Keynote Speakers, Nobel Prize nominee, Conservative Author, and Bethune Institute founder, Dr. Jim Garrow and Patriotic film-maker Dennis Michael Lynch, who will be filming the event's circuitous tour around Washington DC.
Rounding out the speakers will be Bishop Dan Johnson, of the 'Hearts of Fire Ministries' and recognized as one of the top 50 Pastors in the US --and even more aptly as being the Man of the Cloth who worked tirelessly with others at Ground Zero on 9/11 while also delivering last rites to victims as they filled the NYC morgue.
Dr. Garrow is well known for his book, "The Pink Pagoda" which details his life's work in rescuing infant girls in China from the fate of gendercide. According to current accounts, Garrow has rescued upwards of 100,000 baby girls and placed them with Chinese families while also operating a network of highly effective English language schools in China. Garrow is well-known as having been a Nobel Prize Nominee for his Christ-inspired life-saving works in 2009, ironically losing to none other than Barack Obama, a Leader Dr. Garrow frequently and publically criticizes for his lack of positive leadership while lamenting Obama's continual and utter disdain for the US Constitution.
Dennis Michael Lynch is known for his film documentary "They Come to America" which focuses on the cost of illegal aliens in America. Lynch has also frequently been seen on popular news shows headed by Sean Hannity, Neil Cavuto, and even Bill O'Reilly, and is in the process of promoting his latest film "They Come To America II: The Cost of Amnesty."
Iron Thunder in DC
After the greeting phase and opening speeches, the event will go "Kick-Stands Up" at 11:00 am and the riders will begin their journey around DC. Bee states the routes to be taken will not be disclosed to the public out of security concerns however once begun, it's probably safe to say that everyone will easily be able to hear where the riders are.
When questioned on security concerns, Bee indicates several well known and highly experienced motorcycle groups, which will remain unnamed, will be riding guard for the thousands of other riders throughout the event. Bee further indicates that a number of these and other groups have contacted her throughout the event and offered timely advice and even support on how to overcome specific problems typically encountered. Recently the group 'Special Operations Speaks' which is made up of former military special operations personnel announced its invitation to the 2 Million Bikers to join with them at a 'permitted rally' on the Capital west lawn, along with several other groups.
As to the countering 'Million Muslim March' event, organizers state their event will be keynoted by speakers to include Dr. Cornel Ronald West, MD. Rabbi Alam, and Isa Hodge. Black Caucus Chairman and US Congressman Emanual Cleaver was originally announced however his name does not currently appear on the formal list of speakers to the event.
The 'Million Muslim March' group which was eventually renamed 'Million America March Against Fear,' will apparently undergo yet another name change at 2:00 pm on that same day. The latter event will evolve from 'Million American March Against Fear' to the 'March Against Drones' which could be construed as an understandable concern all things considered.
As to the big day on 9/11 in DC, co-founders Bee and Williamson issued a brief note to all who have supported and who are participating in the event:
"Folks thanks for all your kudo's but we did not do this alone.
There are many people behind the scenes (past and present) who we give the credit to.
Thanks for all your love and support, GOD BLESS THE BIKERS AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!"
