An Inaugural Fair during President's Day Weekend: Art Wynwood

Spotlighting and projecting the Wynwood Arts District of Miami as a vigorous cultural destination, Art Miami, LLC., confirmed its exhibitor list for this year's inaugural Art Wynwood which will take place during President's Day Weekend from February 16-20, 2012.
Attracting more than 50 galleries that will occupy 100,000 square feet of space, the five-day fair will showcase cutting-edge contemporary and modern art including Tony Goldman's "The Flying Murals of Wynwood" at the VIP Lounge.
Commissioned by Goldman and under his guidance, six 8' x 24' murals will be installed by international artists such as DAZE, Aiko and Futura. Also installed will be a Retna work from the Goldman's collection and an existing piece from How & Nosm.
"Art Wynwood is a wonderful example of how Miami and specifically the Wynwood Arts District has evolved into a year round arts destination," said Goldman.

On the other hand, Art Wynwood Director Nick Korniloff says that this inaugural fair will further ignite the District's urban revitalization providing with high quality contemporary art for Miami's community and international art collectors who vacation in South Florida during President's Day Weekend.
