Not only did Sandra Bullock pick up two People's Choice Awards - accepting the favourite comedy trophy alongside Canadian-born hunk Ryan Reynolds - on Wednesday night, The Proposal star was one of the best dressed Hollywood hotties to walk the red carpet.
The brunette beauty stole the spotlight in a glittering gold number, making a tearful acceptance speech for her favourite movie actress award: "I am only up here because I am fortunate to work with people who make me look good... "[Thanks] most of all to my family . . . Life is hard sometimes, but we get through with laughter."
And to the people, she said: "Thank you to everyone who voted... because you're voting for all the people who make me look good - and you're making me look very good."
Other scene stealers on the red carpet include Inglourious Basterds star Diane Kruger, a presenter on the night, who accessorized her white bandage Herve Leger micro-mini with funky H&M jewellery.
American sweetheart Taylor Swift looked stunning in a white tube number as she was awarded the favourite female artist award, to which she exclaimed: "What a wonderful way to start 2010".
And Carrie Underwood flashed her new sparkler from Ottawa Senators player Mike Fisher, which is indeed a very large yellow circular diamond creation by Beverly Hills designer Jonathan Arndt.
