On Thursday’s episode of Showtime, superstar Anne Curtis, who was celebrating her 26th birthday, received a very special call on air.
Through a phone patch was her mother, Mrs. Carmen Ojales-Smith:
"Happy birthday! Firstly I wish you all the blessings, good health. Anne, wala na akong masasabi ngayon sa narating mo sa career mo. Napakalayo na ang naabot mo at natupad lahat lahat ng pangarap mo. I'm so happy for you. Proud na proud talaga ako sa iyo [because of] what you are now."
Curtis, who was born on February 17, 1985 in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia, shed tears about missing her family in Australia. "I love you and I will see you soon. I miss you. Miss na miss ko na ang mama ko. Miss na miss ko na ang family ko. Thank you mama. Thank you for greeting.”
She then thanked Showtime for making her dreams come true.
