Amanda Knox told jurors Thursday that she felt vulnerable before them at that important moment. The jury consists of six people and two judges, and they will begin deliberations early Friday morning. It may take up to 12-18 hours before a verdict is reached.

Amanda Knox, 22 is accused of killing her roommate, Meredith Kercher two years ago in Italy.

“I am afraid of losing myself. I am afraid of being defined as something I am not, and by actions that are not mine. I am afraid of having a mask of a murderer forced on to my skin," Amanda said in a voice that broke quite often.

Know has already spent two years in jail for this crime and said, "I can confess that I feel confused, sad, frustrated."

Knox stated that she has been asked how she has been able to keep from getting depressed in her jail cell, and to that she responded, "In these situations I breathe, and try to find the positive in the important moments." "And I know this moment is one of those moments, because in this moment... a real decision is being made about a fact. It must be understood."

"And I feel more in touch with you, more vulnerable in front of you. But I have faith and am sure of my knowledge."

Knox also took the opportunity to thank the people who have supported her during the last two years including her lawyers, "my family, and my friends who are the reason...that I am able to bear it." She also thanked the prosecutors, "even if they don't understand me...because they are trying to bring justice to an act that has taken someone from the world."

"The important thing now," she said in a comment directed to the jurors, "is that I thank you because it is your turn now and so I thank you. Okay."

And with that she was done and so was the defense.

According to an interactive evidence log with photos on the CNN website, the evidence is confusing. And it appears that almost everyone who has been accused or was accused of murdering Meredith Kercher has lied in one way or another. And probably most important, it appears that the crime scene and evidence wasn’t protected by Italian police, or even properly investigated. To see the interactive evidence, click here.

How much longer do we have to wait for the guilty verdict?

Amanda's DNA ties her to the crime. Amanda's LIES tie her to the crime. Ditto for her knife-collecting 'boyfriend' of 6 days. May Justice be done for poor Meredith Kercher.
