BARD COLLEGE - The 23rd annual Bard Music Festival continues this weekend (August 17-19) - Friday at 8:30 p.m. Proust and Music. Pianist Danny Driver will be performing Franck's Prélude, choral et fugue, M21, and Saint-Saëns's Violin Sonata No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 75, with violinist Eugene Drucker. Saturday at 8 p.m. Lili Boulanger's Psalm 130 and Saint-Saëns's Le déluge. HUNTER MOUNTAIN - International Celtic Festival featuring fantastic entertainment from the Emerald Isles, plus world-class Irish-American bands and dancers. This always delivers dozens of authentic Irish vendors, traditional foods, and plenty of beverages. RHINEBECK - Warren Kitchen & Cutlery - 3:30 to7:30 p.m. Knife forging demonstration presented by the Japanese Culinary Arts Network (JCAN) in partnership with Kikuichi Knives to bring an unprecedented demonstration of traditional Japanese knife making and engraving.
