By now many have heard about this new bill that was snuck through while we were worrying about Auntie Ann and Thanksgiving. The name of the bill is S. 1867 from the 112th with the :atest Title being: National Defense Authorization Act. This new bill appearing to defend our country from "terrorists" also has a major loophole. In summary the bill allows U.S. Military to detain, arrest, interrogate suspected terrorists. Unfortunately, "terrorist“ is not defined in the bill allowing for interpretations as loose an American citizen who is practicing their right to free speechwho may be speaking out against their government as a potential terrorist. This very idea is a practice of communism and is forcing many more Americans to speak out against the law no matter how scary the prospect may be.
"This bill, passed in a 93-7 vote, declares the entire USA to be a "battleground" upon which U.S. military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate U.S. citizens with impunity.
Even WIRED magazine was outraged at this bill, reporting:

...the detention mandate to use indefinite military detention in terrorism cases isn't limited to foreigners. It's confusing, because two different sections of the bill seem to contradict each other, but in the judgment of the University of Texas' Robert Chesney — a nonpartisan authority on military detention — U.S. citizens are included in the grant of detention authority.
This law, it will shred the remaining tenants of the Bill of Rights and unleash upon America a total military dictatorship, complete with secret arrests, secret prisons, unlawful interrogations, indefinite detainment without ever being charged with a crime, the torture of Americans and even the "legitimate assassination" of U.S. citizens right here on American soil! "
The passage of this law is nothing less than a declaration of war against Americans by our own military. Many have thought this is the New Order and that a police state is being set up around U.S. citizens. Many have joined in Occupy Wall Street protests and are speaking out on issues that take away our civil rights.
