This article is a continuation follow-up to an article that was published back in May 2012. After experiencing a 911 moment this past Friday evening, I was received at the Emergency Room section of the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357.
For those of you who have read my previous article concerning a previous experience with this Medical Center, let this serve as a confirmation that the “kudos” they received then are well justified. I have to take the time to recognize the excellent system their Human Resources department has in place for selecting their workers at every level. Every person at this facility shows the same positive attributes (professional manner, a caring attitude and eager to accommodate you in any manner they can.)
The procedures that the staff of doctors, nurses and administrative personnel has in place seem to be very effective in diagnosing and treating the various conditions that they face daily. The weekends are no exception to this rule, thankfully. Their follow-up procedures help to add confidence to the patients being treated there. As stated previously, their caring attitude aids in the recovery for the patient. This is one attribute that cannot be disguised.
In closing I would recommend that policies and procedure used at this facility be cloned and adopted for use at every medical facility nation wide. Another “gold star” for everyone concerned. We (the Veterans) appreciate your efforts in consistency in every area.
God bless America, Israel and our leaders.
