Singer, Amy Winehouse was found dead at her London home.
The Back to Black singer, who was notorious for having a drinking and drug addiction, was called to her home by paramedics after 4 pm, where they found the singer already dead at the scene.
According to the London Metropolitan Police as reported by The Huffington Post, "Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained."
However, after pronouncing her death as "unexplained," various reports are suspecting drug overdose.
This tragedy comes after Winehouse canceled her 2011 European tour when she was hugely booed off stage during a performance in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. Winehouse was reported to showing up late to her own show and was "staggering through her performance," according to The Los Angeles Times.
The singer's publicist both from the US and Britain has not yet commented on her death.
