Amy Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning, second inquest confirmed

Amy Winehouse has been gone for some time now but there have still been questions over her exact death. A second inquest was requested in December and the results have been confirmed according to E! News on Jan. 8.

The new inquest was order in December by the London borough of Camden. The new probe was conducted and revealed what the first one did. The 27 year old Amy Winehouse died from accidental alcohol poisoning.

The latest findings were by Dr. Shirley Radcliffe, interim coroner for Inner North London. Radcliffe came to the conclusion of “death by misadventure” which simply put means accidental.

The original findings were done by Suzanne Greeaway. Greenaway was found to not have the proper qualifications or the requisite of five years experience at the Law Society.

Amy Winehouse had struggles with alcohol and drug abuse for several years before she was found dead at her north London home on July 23, 2011. She is a perfect example a a young star that died way too young.
