Amy Duggar, plus Anna and Josh Duggar will make news this week on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” but for very different reasons. Amy Duggar is busy preparing for her new TV special called “A Duggar Leaves Home.” Anna and Josh Duggar will also take center stage this week when two new episodes of “19 Kids and Counting” focus on their life in Washington, DC.
While speaking with a TLC executive on April 25, she informed Examiner.com that a premiere date for “A Duggar Leaves Home” would be announced very soon, possibly even this week. On April 22, Amy posted on her Twitter account that she was busy filming all day. “A Duggar Leaves Home” will include a one-hour “19 Kids and Counting” prequel, followed by the big premiere of Amy’s new special that takes place in Nashville and focuses on her budding music career. If enough viewers tune in, TLC could turn the special in to a weekly series.
Like Amy, Josh and Anna Duggar will also make news this week on “19 Kids and Counting." The first new episode on Tuesday is titled “Duggars Reunited.” As posted by TLC, the entire Duggar clan travels to DC so the older girls can record their audio book. Plus, Josie, Jordyn and Mackenzie celebrate their fourth birthday.
The second new episode continues to focus on Anna and Josh. In DC, Anna has her hands full taking care of the two boys, while the kids plan a surprise for Michelle and Jim Bob. TLC hints at a big twist by saying, “Another courtship may be on the horizon.” The network also states that Michelle and Jim Bob make a decision that could change one of their daughter’s lives.
Last week, the Duggar family headed to Big Sandy to attend the annual ATI homeschool conference. In other news, Jill Duggar is busy planning her June 21 wedding to Derick Dillard. As posted by The Stir, Jill and Derick are saving their first kiss for the altar. During our exclusive interview, Amy Duggar revealed that she would sing during the ceremony.
In the meantime, the Duggar family may be facing a threat of severe storms and the possibility of tornadoes. The Weather Channel reported on April 27 that Arkansas is under the gun on Sunday. Meteorologist Mike Seidel is reporting live from Little Rock, which is just a three-hour drive from the Duggar’s home in Northwest Arkansas.
