Burbank, CA- Teacher Amy Beck, 33, of David Star Jordan middle School, was arrested by Burbank police in March of 2010 for allegedly having sex on multiple occasions with a 14 year old student. The acts have been confirmed by the 14 year old student, who is remaining anonymous. Amy Beck is a mother of three.

According to ABC.com, Mrs. Beck has also freely admitted the affair.

From that article: 'The Burbank, Calif., teacher stunned police and school officials when she showed up at the police station and told them she'd repeatedly had sex with a now-15-year-old student.'

According to the Huffington Post, 'Beck's attorney, Michael Williamson, said she should be released in about 10 months.'

Her sentence is two (2) years. the maximum sentence is seven (7).

She had quit her job the week before turning herself in.

The story has run into new publicity now that the 14 year old's family is suing Amy Beck's husband, an LAPD officer, for threatening to murder the boy and his family after walking in on one of the sexual encounters (which occurred in his home).

the818now.com reports, 'The family accuses the L.A.P.D. and the city of Los Angeles for failing to investigate or take any disciplinary action after receiving complaints of his conduct, according to the complaint.'

Does this mean Sex-ed is being taught as a one-on-one class to students in California? Where are the parents and school administrators?

The impact this will have on the student is a deep scar!. Oregon has recently center on the impact the Governor at the time had on a young 13/15, depending on who is telling, young lady and her horrible life leading to an early death yet the perpitrator lives on!
